[ Benchmarks: Crysis 2, Dragon Age II ]

The HIS 7970 IceQ X² GHz Edition managed 34fps at 2560x1600 in Crysis 2 making it the fastest single-GPU graphics card tested along with the standard 7970 GHz Edition card. The HIS 7950 IceQ X² Boost Clock was slightly slower averaging 31fps which was the same result recorded by the Radeon HD 7950 Boost and GeForce GTX 680.

Testing with Dragon Age II at 2560x1600 saw the HIS 7970 IceQ X² GHz Edition average 42fps making it just 2fps slower than the GeForce GTX 680. The HIS 7950 IceQ X² Boost Clock was less impressive as it was 3fps slower than the GeForce GTX 660 Ti as it averaged just 35fps.

Nice review. I have noticed that Gigabyte generally undercuts Asus and since they both sell products with similar features and performance I often go with Gigabyte.

Gigabyte is starting to overtake Asus in shipments and this is probably because they are offering slightly better deals!

Nice boards but I prefer Gigabyte myself. Asus boards tend to be a bit pricey for my liking.
