[ Encoding Performance ]

The Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 performed well when testing with HandBrake, matching the Asrock Z68 Extreme4 and Asrock P67 Extreme6 with 86fps each.

The Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 was slower than the Asrock Z68 Extreme4 when testing with the x264 HD Benchmark, though it was also faster than the Asrock P67 Extreme6.

Finally, for the last encoding benchmark we use TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress and as you can see the Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 and Asrock Z68 Extreme4 delivered roughly the same performance.

Intel SRT looks great. Pretty nice way of speeding up your hard drive :) Thanks for the review.

Can you use an SSD with SRT or do you need to buy the Intel 20GB drive?

Hi:

Not that I want to be a smart-ass or anything but I think one of your labels on your test systems is wrong.

Instead of being the LGA 1366, shouldn't it be the 1155??

Just a thought.
