[ Benchmarks: Aliens vs. Predator, Alan Wake ]

The HIS 7970 IceQ X² GHz Edition averaged 43fps at 2560x1600 in the Aliens vs. Predator game, which is the same frame rate reported by our standard 7970 graphics card. The HIS 7950 IceQ X² Boost Clock averaged 36fps, which was the same frame rate produced by the standard 7950 Boost card while it was 3fps faster than a standard 7950.

When testing with Alan Wake we found that the HIS 7970 IceQ X² GHz Edition was able to average 48fps while the HIS 7950 IceQ X² Boost Clock was slightly slower with 40fps. While the HIS 7970 IceQ X² GHz Edition matched the standard 7970 in terms of performance, the HIS 7950 IceQ X² Boost Clock was 1fps faster than a standard 7950 Boost graphics card.

That gaming bundle is amazing. Wish I didn't buy mine a few months ago now!

Sick looking graphics card. Love how its only a dual slot rather than a triple.

The photos of the PCB don't match up. Some of them show power connector with 6+8 and others show 8+8.

Confusing with the photos. I don't know what the PCB really looks like.

You do realize that there are two graphics cards being reviewed here? As the review states the 7970 has the 8+8 connectors and the 7950 has the 6+8, how hard is that?
