The GeForce GTX 660 provides a surprisingly high level of performance given the MSRP of just $230 making it roughly 23% cheaper than last month’s Ti version. The performance was unexpected for the simple reason that the GTX 660 was just 14% slower than the GTX 660 Ti at 1920x1200 which in turn meant that it was 10% faster than the Radeon HD 7850.

Gigabyte managed to release this for $230 so I grabbed one, can't wait for it to arrive  Good bye GTX 460. |

Thanks for the great review. A really impressive piece of hardware and Nvidia is finally getting the power consumption in place. Although it would be nice to see how the 660GTX handles Batman Arkham games with physx enabled. Maybe you can add it to the review if you have time. |
