Today we are checking out the latest Intel Z68 based motherboard from Gigabyte designed to deliver the very latest features to this mainstream platform. Features such as the Intel Smart Response Technology and Lucid Virtu are included as well as some other great features that help make the Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 a well rounded motherboard...

Gigabyte has put together an impressive motherboard with the Z68X-UD3H-B3, and at $170 it represents excellent value. At this price its nearest competitor is the Asrock Z68 Extreme4, though that particular board still costs an additional $20. In fact Gigabyte has a Z68 board for almost every price point, and currently has the most extensive range on offer.

Intel SRT looks great. Pretty nice way of speeding up your hard drive :) Thanks for the review.

Can you use an SSD with SRT or do you need to buy the Intel 20GB drive?

Hi:

Not that I want to be a smart-ass or anything but I think one of your labels on your test systems is wrong.

Instead of being the LGA 1366, shouldn't it be the 1155??

Just a thought.
