The BigWater 760i appears to be a very solid product and after a month of non-stop usage appears to have none of the weaknesses that plagued previous models. Thermaltake has picked up the pieces with the BigWater 760i and in doing so have developed a water-cooling product that we highly recommend. There is very little not to like about the BigWater 760i, it is affordable, easy to install, easy to maintain and the performance is very good.
The Thermaltake BigWater 760i is without a doubt one of the easiest water-cooling kits I have ever installed. We estimate that it should take less than 10 minutes to install, but for those with less experience installing hardware components it could take a little longer. Realistically there are only a few simple steps you need to follow and they are clearly shown within the user’s manual. In an effort to avoid any confusion Thermaltake has provided a highly detailed installation guide with high quality colour photos.
While the quick and easy installation process is marvellous, that’s not what excites me when it comes to the Thermaltake BigWater 760i. Rather I am far more impressed with how affordable the unit is and how well it works. Currently the BigWater 760i can be purchased online for roughly $166 US, making it exceptionally good value. This is a very reasonable price when you consider units such as the Swiftech H20-220 Apex Ultra cost a whooping $250 US.
Although the BigWater 760i does feature some trademark Thermaltake “bling” if you will, they have not gone overboard with the eye candy on this one. Thermaltake has been rather reserved when it comes to prettying up the BigWater 760i, limiting themselves to just one blue LED fan. There is no cheap clear acrylic work in the BigWater 760i kit, which had caused so many problems in previous Thermaltake water kits. The BigWater 760i is more to the point, it is a more serious product, and we hope to see this more from Thermaltake.

That about sums the new BigWater 760i up and surprisingly we have found this product to be an excellent do it yourself water cooling solution that we highly recommend. What more could you ask for than an affordable water cooling system that takes no time at all to install and delivers exceptional performance. The BigWater 760i also offers the ability to cool other components as it can easily be coupled with two VGA water blocks.
