The Radeon HD 3870 produced slightly better performance than the 2900XT in Company of Heroes, though the margins were very small. However the GeForce 8800 GT was again the faster of the two, defeating the 3870 by 17% at 1920x1200.

Again the Radeon HD 3870 delivered similar performance to that of the 2900XT, which was disappointing as this made the GeForce 8800 GT 30% faster at 1920x1200. While the 3870 did perform better at 1440x900, it was still 18% slower GeForce 8800 GT.
