The memory bandwidth performance of the E8400 is much the same as the E6850, which was to be expected given that both processors are using the same DDR3-1333 memory on a 1333MHz FSB at the same clock frequency. The quad-core QX9650 has a slight performance advantage here, though SiSoftware Sandra only shows a 500MB/s bandwidth increase over the E8400 and E6850 processors.
