DISCUSS REVIEW

The ASUS ROG Extreme N9600GT Matrix was found to use less power than a standard GeForce 9600 GT graphics card at idle which was impressive. However under load the ROG Extreme N9600GT Matrix was not quite as efficient, as the system consumed a total of 248 watts, making it slightly less efficient than the GeForce 8800 GT.

Again when at idle the ASUS ROG Extreme N9600GT Matrix is impressive and this time with an idle temperature of just 33 degrees it was by far the coolest graphics card when idling. Under load however was a much different story, as the ROG Extreme N9600GT Matrix reached 81 degrees making it significantly hotter than your typical GeForce 9600 GT.
