According to the recent Engadget report, the tablet device will run on a new version of Google's increasingly popular Android OS. Current prototype models of the Snapdragon-powered Mini 5 run on build number 1.6 (Donut) of the mobile OS, but an unnamed Dell staff member claims the final product will run "something newer."
