The StarCraft 2 beta test is set to begin later this month, notes IncGamers, as Blizzard President Mike Morhaime announced the plans for beta testing of the RTS sequel during Activision Blizzard's fourth quarter earnings conference call. Also, Big Download notes the game itself will be available for digital distribution through the new Battle.net when it is released in the middle of this year.
